A young yakuza thug apprentices with an indebted comic "rakugo" performer, whose not-so-fashionable son runs a clothes shop in the Harajuku backstreets.

Natsumi takes a job at Kitchen Macaroni, a family-run restaurant known for its omelets, pretending to be the fiancée of the owner's eldest son. Though initially met with skepticism by the staff and family, she gradually wins them over.
